There are benches to rest on, meadows to stretch out in and places to stop off at for refreshments. And you can do all this against a breathtaking backdrop of delightful mountain scenery.


Höfen and the Reutte Nature Park Region offer trails to suit hikers of all abilities – from easy or challenging trails, to themed trails, such as the Alpenrose Trail and the Alpine Barefoot Trail.



wandern-03One particularly spectacular route takes you past waterfalls, across lush forest floors and back across a suspension bridge.


This circular route called “Stuibenfälle - Ministersteig” guarantees breathtaking views of the Stuiben waterfalls.


You can recharge your batteries by stopping off at one of the 22 cosy mountain huts along the way.

Reuttener Seilbahnen Naturparkregion Reutte TirolThe spacious “Reuttener Seilbahnen” cable car takes you from Höfen (950 m) up to the mountain station (1,742 m) on the Hahnenkamm in the Höfener Alm area in ten minutes.


From there, you have superb panoramic views of the basin of Reutte and the mountains of the Lechtal and Allgäu (Tannheimer) Alps and of the Wetterstein massif with the Zugspitze.
