Hiking in the Reutte Nature Park Region
Hiking – gentle walks and magical high-altitude trails
There are benches to rest on, meadows to stretch out in and places to stop off at for refreshments. And you can do all this against a breathtaking backdrop of delightful mountain scenery.
Höfen and the Reutte Nature Park Region offer trails to suit hikers of all abilities – from easy or challenging trails, to themed trails, such as the Alpenrose Trail and the Alpine Barefoot Trail.
Crystal clear lakes of drinking water quality
Water – pure and clear
The Lech, which used to be known as the “wildest water in the Tyrol”, is the oldest ‘inhabitant' of our charming high-lying valley. We should make the river an honorary citizen.
Tamed and harnessed, but still crystal clear and full of nature’s force, its fresh clean mountain water flows through the valley.
The Reutte Nature Park Region has five crystal-clear lakes, which tempt you to go swimming, sailing, surfing, diving and fishing or take a boat trip.
Cycling and mountain biking, horse riding, paragliding, mountaineering, rock climbing, canyoning, Nordic Walking...
The Reutte Nature Park Region offers a wide range of sports and leisure activities.
